This policy explains what the Pickleball Genie iPhone app collects, why, and what control you have over it. It covers the app and the Pickleball Genie service it connects to.
The short version: we collect only what the app needs to run your account and personalize your training. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't track you across other apps or websites. You can delete your account — and everything in it — from inside the app at any time.

The app also stores one non-personal setting on your device (the last tournament city you viewed) so the Tournaments tab opens where you left off.
Everything above is used for one purpose: making the app work for you — authenticating you, storing your profile, generating personalized workouts and drill recommendations, showing nearby tournaments, and keeping your workout history. Workout generation sends your training-relevant profile details (such as your ratings, preferences, and session length) to our server, which uses an AI service to compose the session. We don't send your name, email, or photo for that purpose.
Your data is stored on our servers for as long as your account exists. All traffic between the app and our servers uses encrypted HTTPS connections, and your login token is kept in the iOS Keychain on your device. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information with industry-standard measures.
Open the app, go to the Profile tab, tap Delete Account, and confirm. Your account, profile, ratings, avatar, and workout history are permanently deleted from our servers, and everything the app has saved on your device — favorites, skill-check results, training reminders, and any practice videos you recorded — is erased at the same time. This can't be undone. If you can't access the app, email us from your account's email address and we'll take care of it. You may also email us to ask what data we hold about you or to have it corrected.
Pickleball Genie isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and revise the effective date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
